Welcome to Vizually Speaking!
Hi, I’m Kelly-Anne Rover, Founder/CEO of Vizually Speaking, Educator, Communication Disorders Assistant (CDA), Behavioural and Rehabilitation Support Worker (RSW), Special Education Assistant, First Responder, instructor, coach, parent, and daughter.
I am originally from Canada but lived abroad for 10 years. Having a child with a learning disability and a father who suffered multiple strokes, I understand what it means to struggle without resources, support, information and language barriers. I have experienced first-hand the positive life changes which are possible through the use of visual aids and strategies, regardless of where you are in the world.
With over three decades of experience working with individuals with special needs, autism and brain injuries, and their families, caregivers, and teachers. I am devoted to using my expertise, education, and experience to train individuals, families, caregivers, frontline workers, educators and emergency responders on how to improve an individual’s overall quality of life through the creation and implementation of individualized visual aids and strategies.
Statistics are showing that special needs, autism, brain injuries, and dementia are on the rise, however, funding and services have left many people on long waitlists, often only to become lost in “the system” or deferred as the criteria of these lists are constantly changing. I am committed to using my education and expertise and work collaboratively together to help you design, create and implement persoanlized visual aids and strategies. I believe that each individual should be recognized for their skills and abilities rather than their diagnoses; and by in building on their strengths, potential, and personal needs while overcoming individual and social barriers faced in their daily life is essential to their success.
I am eager to learn about any particular challenges you are working through with an individual in your care. For your FREE consultation contact us TODAY.
